New York & Orlando

This years adventure is going to be a trip with my daughters, Amy and Emily. We are flying from Newcastle via Heathrow to JFK and then on to Orlando. We are staying at Hostel International NY for 3 nights and then flying to Orlando to stay with Amy's friend Elise for the rest of the holiday. Tonight we have sat and worked out an outline itinerary for our stay in New York. There are a number of places we would all like to see and others that one or another of us would like to see! The main things we have booked is a trip to 'The Top of The Rock' as the sun goes down over the city and a tour around the 9/11 Memorial. The rest we are going to wing!



Outline itinerary as follows:

Fly to JFK via Heathrow 20th August, 2013. We should arrive at HINYC very late on the evening NY time.

NY Day 1

We are aiming to have a very early start to be down at the Brooklyn Bridge by 8am! We will get the subway from the hostel which is on the North West side of Central Park, most of the rest of the day will be on foot.

Wall Street

10.30 Liberty Street - 9/11 Memorial

Battery Park - Staten Island Ferry

Subway to Union Square

Flatiron Building

Empire State Building

Macys

Rockefeller - Top of The Rock

Subway back to HINYC



NY Day 2

Mostly on foot!

HINYC - Absolute Bagels Breakfast Stop

Central Park walk West Drive to Strawberry Fields

72nd Transverse Street Road to Alice In Wonderland Statue

Tiffany's

Bloomingdales

59th Avenue Bridge (Feeling Groovy!)

Grand Central

Chrysler Building

Elf

Centre of Photography (walk by only ha)

Times Square & Theatre District

Back to HINYC
