Lake District

We had a fantastic time during our stay in the Lake District. To enable us as much flexibilty as possible we hired a camper van to travel arround in. There are many wild camping area's in the Lakes some more private than others. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather throughout our stay which provided us with some great opportunities to do a few hikes. The towns are packed with tourists regardless of where you go. We visited Ulswater, Kendle, Windermere, Keswick, Ambleside, Coniston, Grassmere and Glenriding. All offer the most superb scenery.
