May 18th 2007 We flew from Mamchester to Zürich on our way home to visit friends in Stans. They included old friends from Pilatus Aircraft and the Pratt & Whitney Area Representative who is also retired and who lives in Lucerne. It was fabulous renewing these old friendships and we had a grand time. The pictures below record Donald's visit to the factory. We took our friends and their wives out to dinner and visited the Stanserhorn a cable train and cable car ride up the mountain 4,000 for a specatacular view of the countryside.

The area has many new tunnels and highways that had been built since my last visit in 1991! It was as a real pleasure to visit Switzerland again. Added to our visits to Wales and Glasgow, the Swiss visit capped a super visit to Europe.
Here endeth the blog.
