Venice to Lugano

Venice to Lugano in Switzerland, via Verona, and Milan.

It looses something in the translation. It looses something in the translation. It looses something in the translation.

Seen on the stairs coming down from floor 2 to floor 0 where they tried to round off the ceiling, but evidently people still hit their head. The sign does give you notice. It must have worked, because I didn't hit my head on it.
The Venice boat taxi's run just about 24 hours a day, hauling people, or supporting materials to the big island. We saw laundry being delivered to hotels, groceries and vegetgables coming in, and construction crews that were remodeling buildings, hauling their construction debris to a special little barge, kind of a bigger boat than the taxi, so that it could be taken to the mainland.

The first stop was for a "comfort" stop, but the AutoGrill was shut down, so on to Verona.

In Verona, we got to see the effects of Roman Empire in buildings. The town was "remomdeled" not too long ago, about 1500, so it is fairly new.

up the sweat of someone who can't find a lover. Of course, the right breast is polished and shines and there were hundreds waiting to play with the statue.

Walking around to and from the courtyard, we saw lots of stores, mostly high-end, and in the main square, near the Coloseum which is were we stopped to enjoiy a lesiurely lunch with friends.

After lunch, we continued our journey to Lugano, Switzerland, with a stop in Milan for comfort.

We did not tour this one. It was a bit smaller than the one in Rome.

Each city has a plaza, where everyone comes to hang out.

The crowd is on it's way. You can see the polished boob on the statue. Polished by all the tourists rubbing it, to find a lover.
