The cold snap persisted right up till today and there was not much of a choice as far as sight-seeing plans were concerned. Today marked the final day of my 2 weeks+ vacation in Central Europe and having started my journey in Munich, this was a very big trip for me for 2017 as we zipped through 5 countries (Germany, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Switzerland) in 17 days.

I am determined to stay indoors as much as possible for the rest of today and one of the sane options is to visit the massive Swiss Transport Museum. Granted the steep admission fees, this museum housed a very comprehensive collection of trains, cars, cable ways as well as a life-sized decommissioned plane where we were free to enter. I spent most of my daylight hours at this fine museum to escape from the cold.

The skies cleared up miraculously in the evening and from where I stood, Mount Pilatus was evident in the distance. This was a perfect picture perfect memory as I wind down my trip for my flight home to Singapore. The experiences were not perfect but I brought back enough fond memories to include a few stories for this blog.
