We left Auckland on time at 13.45 on Saturday 22nd July and flew with Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong. The seats were not very comfortable and I ended up with a sore back. Seeing that it was daytime, I watched 3 movies... Hidden Figures, The Zookeeper's Wife and A United Kingdom - all of which I wanted to see while at home, but hadn't. We arrived at 9pm local time - 1am NZ time, and had a 2 hour stopover, before flying with Lufthansa to Munich. I was really tired this time and had a good few hours sleep in a comfortable seat. We had a 3.5 hour stopover there, then flew on to Stockholm, arriving at 11am. Jonathan and Bertil were there to meet us and it was great to see them again. We had lunch at Jonny and Sara's apartment then went to Bertil's house and enjoyed sitting out in the warm sun and admiring their garden. Bertil BBQed salmon for dinner. A good sleep followed....
