Welcome to Stockholm During summer this year we have tried to do some sightseeing in our hometown - Stockholm. We thought it could be fun to publish one entry with photos from here so you can get an idea of what Stockholm is like. We are Emma Holmbro and Ake Dahllof. We live in Stockholm, Sweden. We have travelled more or less regularly since the mid 1990-ies and it seems like the more we travel the more difficult it is to decide where to go next. The Eastern District is the more affluent part of the city. This can been seen on the houses but is even more obvious if you enter them.

Idyllic countryside

You don't have to travel far from Stockholm to find peace and quiet. Here is some farms right outside Stockholm. Near the busy city but a completely other world.

my visit to Stockholm
I want to visit Stockholm. Is this a good time/month? I want to visit the Husvquana Viking Sewing center/factory/museum. Do you know if there is a place like this open for public tours? Thank you, and your city sounds very interesting and exciting. /can't wait. Mary

I'm from Texas in the USA. Never been outside the country before but hopefully one day I will get to visit Sweden. Some of the photos are absolutely breathtaking!!
