Robin & Korean
Robin is the one on the left. This was taken at my birthday party. Time to talk about my living situation in depth. I live in a 5 floor building. On the bottom floor, there is a laundry room, a sauna, mailboxes, and locker space that everyone shares. There's also an elevator and a staircase. On each floor, there is a kitchen, a dining room, and a TV lounge. On my floor, I am the only girl. I live with 8 boys, with one more due in a month. Now, to tell you about the boys:
Ingvar-He's Swedish. He's a Civil Rights Law student, currently single, loves to run, and is very interesting. I've met his sister and he's from Southern Sweden. Ingvar looks like a Viking, except he has black hair instead of blonde. He also has to have time to warm up to someone. Talks little at first, but once he gets to know you-he says these funny off the wall things. He's helpful too. Lets me borrow his phone to call home when I need to.
Hector-Hector is from Spain. I get to practice my Spanish with him. He cooks and is a great joker. He smokes, though, which is a bad habit. He also casually drinks alcohol. Hector loves
Lukas
This is Lukas with his Viking hat and hammer made from beer cans. He thinks he's Thor. to party. If there is a party, he is there unless he is sick. He has a very dark brown curly hair. He's also short and has big, puffy lips. Hector is one of the cleanest guys I know. Has a girlfriend back home.
Lukas-Lukas is Austrian. He loves his Macintosh computer and has a messy room. He's sweet and helpful though. He always tries to make me feel better and make me laugh when he can. He's very tall, though. Lukas also likes to drink and party. He's a physics major so he's very smart. His haircut makes him look a lot older than he is. Otherwise, Lukas has an animated movie making hobby. He also fixes bikes. If you give him candy, he will cook you dinner. Very single ladies. 😊 He says he wants a wife who likes to headbang though.
Chris-Another Swede, Chris works selling blue jeans while he's in school. He goes to the gym everyday too. Then he comes home and studies then sleeps. There's no variation though I do know he parties sometimes on the weekends. Chris is the stylish one, besides Ingvar. Whereas Ingvar has the polished look, Chris opts
Ingvar
A Southern Swede, Ingvar is really tall. The chair he's standing next to comes up to waist. And he's slouching.. for the African American look. He wears baggy jeans, wife beaters, bandanas, and things. Chris also loves music. He has like 7663 songs or something downloaded. We also joke that he has a nightclub in his room since he pushes buttons and colored lights show up. I keep having to remember that Chris is only 19. He's taller than me and acts so serious sometimes. Still, if you ask him a favor, he'll do it for you.
Robin-Robin is from Gothenburg, Sweden. He's short and older looking. He's also more reserved and quiet. He has a very nice and cute girlfriend, though. I've had some great chats with him and he's helpful too. He has a secret online life though. A very prominent web designer, he loves to write funny jokes on his website. Robin is nice and he is a bit of a film buff.
Ingemar-Ingemar isn't a student. He has his own business and works here in Lulea. I have only run into him a few times and he's a bit strange so I tend to avoid him. He's not very talkative, which fits with the normal Swedish attitude.
Harald-Harald is only 18. This is
Hector
The Spaniard, Hector is always funny. He parties alot. his first year at University. I've met his Dad, who is pretty cool. Harald is tall too, just like Lukas and Chris, and Ingvar. Pretty much everyone is taller than me and they remind me of this all the time besides the fact I can't cook. I don't know much about Harald yet. You have to catch him when he comes out of his room. I've never been able to see his room since he guards it well. He eats a lot in his room though. I've asked him a few favors though and he humors me.
Johan-So much to tell about this one that he probably warrants his own entry...
Well, Johan likes to play hockey. He plays for the school team. He has great surround sound in his room and I've spent many nights in there watching movies. He also can cook. He had a girlfriend at the beginning of the year, but broke up with her on my birthday weekend. He's quiet around strangers, but is probably my best friend here. He's from Skelleftea, like Chris, a town about an hour drive away. He's told me about his family too. They seem nice. He has a
Krisstofer
Northern Swede, Kriss is the Ladies' Man. He lives nextdoor to me. little brother I want to meet. Johan isn't very stylish except for a belt buckle he wears all the time. He's an engineering student, but doesn't enjoy it. He'd rather do something with history or geography but is convinced that he can't get a good job that way.
He's also a MacGuyver fan, as I have learned. Johan is funny and makes me laugh. He's also very interesting sometimes. You ask him a favor, he'll do it. He has a car too. You ask him questions and he will answer. He does, however, think that socialism is better than capitalism even though he does want to visit America one day to drive around it. He wants to see the Grand Canyon and other things, though he has been to Atlanta before to play golf. Anyway, he's an interesting character and he keeps his room neat.
