For those of you unaware, I am currently in Sweden visiting my girlfriend Adina's home for the very first time. Over the next six weeks I will explore some nearby European areas, based from Adina's hometown city of Halmstad on the west coast of Sweden. The forest is also full of blueberries, blackberries and edible wild mushrooms. The raspberry and blueberry season is fading, but the blacberries and mushrooms are just coming on in the coming weeks.

Formerly a granite quarry, it is now a boat marina serving the Halmstad area.

When its especially stormy, Halmstad can get some chest to shoulder high wind swell. This spot is the primary surf spot on such occassions.
