Some exiting driving today and a difficult walk.

The mountains in this area are cut through with canyons and we wanted to walk along one of them, Anisclo. We told the Ainsa tourist ofiice what we planned and they warned us to be careful in our van. Their advice was well given as the road to the start of the walk was narrow, rough and up a gorge with rock overhanging walls. The walk itself turned out to be along a rocky track which Wendy found quite difficult but we managed to penetrate the canyon for a couple of miles and were rewarded with lovely locations, particularly for our lunch.

Because it is narrow, the road is one way and to get back to the campsite we needed to use another way across the open mountain sides which gave spectacular views of Anisclo and its surrounding mountains.
