Finally decided to leave Cala d’Oques.

Went to Alcossebre, Stayed at another busy site (interesting statues though).

Next day decided to head away from the coast, went to Villagordo. Really hot, over 100 in the shade. Nice campsite near a reservoir. Would have been peaceful, but a large party arrived, and partied all night..

Left Villagodo and went to Javea near Denia. Found our chosen campsite from the ACSI guide. Drove in, drove around, and drove out again. At this point we knew we had to leave the coast. We went to Denia port to get a ferry timetable, as Denia would be our ferry departure point for Formentera .We got to the port at about 4pm. There was a ferry for Formentera at 5pm for a 7pm arrival at Ibiza, and an 8.30pm crossing to Formentera………Yes we took it

Decided we would do more Europe on our return journey in November, when it would be a lot cooler and quieter.

I'll bore you silly over the next week with Formentera...
