¡Hola!

On June 29th we meet the family´s that we are staying with in Salamanca. We pulled up to a park where about 20 sweet ladys were standing, waiting for us.

We all got off the bus, nervous about meeting our ´mama´s´ for the next month. Our names were calling and we greeted our new mamas with a kiss on each cheek. Madison and I were placed with a 46 year old lady named Monserrat. We walked with her to our apartment. Turns out we have the penthouse apartment. It is a 6 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen and dinning room apartment with a huge wraparound roof top balcony with a gorgeous view of the city.

In our apartment there are other borders who are going to school here as well. There is a boy from University of Michigan, Chad. A girl from Bulgaria, Kate. A girl from Holland, Jose. And a girl from Iceland, Brendice. We have a full house, but it makes every day so fun. Everyone is kind and considerate. And the food is amazing, Monserrat is a great cook.

Madison and I are so lucky our home stay is so comfortable.

¡Adios!
Clair
