Rather than restor our own casita we decided to rent a far more impressive Villa just a little further north of Mas de barberans. We managed to drag Melissa, Chris, Susan, Emily and wee Elliott around all the sights of southern catalania

Rice harvest
On the delta each year they have a special feastival before they drain the rice fields. As far as we can tell it's just another excuse (and they don't really need any) to get together and eat Paella and drink beer and have a good long chat.

Our Casita
Inspired by the villa we were staying in. Andrea and I check out what the view is like from the roof. Not bad either
