Valencia if alive with people, lights, music, Fireworks!!! for the start of Les Fallas (the Fires) annual festival which runs up until the Feast of Saint Peter (?) on March 20. We got here in the afternoon after taking the slow train down from Vilanova. It allowed us to see all the little and not-so-little coastal towns. The trade off was it took 2 hours longer. Our Hosts at Valencia Mindfulness Retreat were happy to see us again and were we, it felt like coming back home to visit old friends. They took us to lunch with a couple of other dutch guests we ran into on the street, and had a wonderful 2 hour lunch covering a wide range of topics. Very animated and informative...

After Lunch we go to go up and see Dany and Thijis new apartment. Boy, have they made a find... This allows then to quite living in the B & B but having their own renovated place 10 minutes walking distance away. We are so happy for them.
