What an exciting time
I am on my way over to Don & Cyndy's to wish them a wonderful trip...after 4 hours of phoning at Ray Boughen's campaign office. I'll be working from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday for Elections Canada. We are so fortunate in Canada to have the freedoms that other countries are dying for! I'll be looking after Vader while your mom and dad are with you, but I'm going to pick him up tomorrow morning, as Don & Cyndy want to still have him for tonight. I'm off to the Royal Wedding at 3:00 AM to be televised Friday morning at the Hotel Sask. I'll be wearing a fancy hat, enjoying a cup of tea and some scones with Devonshire cream! Life just keeps on getting more and more exciting. Benn will be starting on my back deck this coming week. As the eccentric Aunt, I guess I'll need to make Flapper pie (he doesn't strike me as enjoying raw spinach in his blueberry smoothies like Andrea and Alexa do!). Sending all my love, Nancy

Thats is nice you will get vader... we wanted mom and dad to sneak him in their suitcase haha we miss him. That is very exciting about your new deck... we will have to sit out on it and tel you all about our trip!! :) we miss you and everyone very much and it was GREAT hearing from you! Hi Quinn & Randi If you have not connected yet, you should go to the east coast to where you will be staying. Nancy will put the address on computer if you do not have it. She gave the address to us also. Am confident all will work out. Moved all the boat dock stuff up to high lawn last tuesday, water almost to top of half;barrels for geraniums. Wind is getting up, and will be very high tomorrow from the north so hope the ice does not get to us. Not much left but still lots out in middle of lake. Good summer
Hi Randi & Quinn Glad things going well for you both & with parents. Glenn out to lake for one whole day to clean up debri , including boards, decks, benches, logs & leaves & needles from trees. Ross & he were out to put sandbags where the firepit used to be to try to save the shoreline. The trees were in the water ,but saved land where they were. Got water close to the boathouse but did not harm it at all. It was the wind so high from the north that did the damage. Our cleaning lady said the water was up to the road at the beach at Katepwa village. Warren & Meagan were here for breakfast on Sunday. Are hoping for good weather on June 25 for their wedding at the little church at the lake. Harv & Blair started seeding yesterday ,went all nite & were still going when Glenn came home tonite. He had been checking out the low spots to not get stuck, so was covered in mud. After a shower & clean clothes & supper he felt better & went back out to Francis to Lions meeting. It is raining so they wont get started tomorrow as they had hoped. Alexa got her drivers license on her 16th birthday on Friday in Regina. Vader was here for a few days when Nancy was busy. We took him out to the lake one day, he looked for family in your cabin but returned to me so we could try to keep each other warm. Looking forward to hearing what you have been doing in Italy. HI GRANDMA AND GRANDPA
Holy.. that is sure alot of water!!!!! hope it is doing better by now and we also hope for great weather on June 25th! Sad we wont be there, but we will enjoy the stories!! We had such a WONDERFUL time with mom and dad findlay.. it was awesome!!! We are in greece right now, and next week we will be flying to Ontario for a little bit. My dad had a heart attack and then triple bypass surgery.. they didnt tell me until the last day that mom and dad findlay were here because they didnt want me to fly home.... so we will go and help out a bit and see everyone and then we will start again in china, and the into south east asia.. which we are very excited about!!! Were trying to have lots of fun in Greece.. were looking into going to some islands.. the more fun we have the faster it will go. I will feel better when i see that my dad is ok and everyone is doing good! Hope you and grandpa are doing great!! remind mom and dad findlay to give you your present! :) it is just something small but we think you will like it! Keep us posted on the lake and everything!!! Your lucky you got to snuggle Vader we miss him very much! haha we love you both very much and cant wait to hear from you again!
