La Cibeles

La Cibeles is a fountain located in the Plaza de la Cibeles. It happened the same as with the Puerta de Alcalá, this fountain is on a very busy road crossing. When we finally arrived to the fountain I was feeling really tired but I was also happy. The whole fountain was surrounded with peonies and the smell was intoxicating, they smelled really good. The fountain consists of a woman sitting on a carriage pulled by lions, the woman which name is Cybele is the Greek Goddess of Fertility. Plaza de la Cibeles is surrounded by some of the most impressive buildings of Madrid.
