We spent six hours in the car, heading across Spain. At 3pm we arrived in Segovia, a small town just North of Madrid. It is famous for it's enchanting Alcazar and Aqueduct. When driving in from baron surroundings, it is a sight to see. The Alcazar, built for former kings is just like the castle at Disneyland, perched on the top of a hill. The town is surrounded by a fortress wall, which adds to it's character. The Aqueduct is one of a kind, built in the first century AD to take water from the surrounding area to the Alcazar. It is 28 metres high and is built without any mortar. The rocks were ground an placed into big arches. After checking out the sights, we stayed the night in a nice two bedroom apartment in town.
