Hello all! Goodness. Where do I begin? Saturday morning we all got up and headed off to Sevllia. I was SO excited to get out of Cádiz for a few days and see more of Spain. Sevilla is actually very close to Cádiz; only about 2 hours by train. This is the First bridge ever built in Seville and it is the original bridge except for that it has been widened a bit.

All the armrests have figures of good and bad, angels and demons, human and non-human. I thought they were very cool.

Stain Glass

One of the stain glass windows that color the floor of the Cathedral. These were put in so the Cathedral didn't seem so somber.

La Bandera

This is the ORIGINAL flag from the 13th Century. It amazes me how this flag has lasted for 800 years and we have to keep ours vacuum packed just so it won't fall apart!

Baptimal Font

In order to be baptized in this font you have to ask permission of every church between your house and the cathedral...good thing I'm already baptized.

Ugh. Starbucks. You have cut me to the quick. ;) Glad you liked Sevilla so much. Been a busy week, working, dog-sitting for friend, Ruth...now I have 4 dogs. Added Chihuahua, Sidney, to the pack. The little Spanish gal fits in well. Tomorrow is M2M...making spaghetti for supper. Making sandwiches for the runners. Collin Lindley is replacing John Matson. Love you Devin! Aunt T
