I went to Granada this weekend and it was such an incredible trip! The program planned it for students who wanted to sign up and it included two nights in a hotel, a few meals at the hotel, a trip to see authentic Flamenco (seeing as it originated from this area), a tour through the city, and a trip to the Alhambra. I'm a third year at UVA and I'm studying abroad in Valencia, Spain for this semester. Generlife is the palace part of the Alhambra, which is the name of the entire palace/fortress complex.

Incredible detail

Every single wall inside this palace looked like this. Even the ceilings had as much detail. I cannot even imagine how anyone could create this.
