Shamen Rock

A holy place for the Buryats who are a race formed from the Turkish and Mongoloid races that formed there own community and religion on Olkhon. We were told at the museum on the island that they burn the bodies of there dead and leave without looking as soon as the fire is started. They then return the next day and claim that whatever caused the death of the person will always remain as the only unburnt part of the body.
