Priroda a lide naprosto super. Najezdili jsme 35tis km bez vetsich technickych problemu.
Tyto technicke zalezitosti nam vzdy pomohly odstranit lide z Delica clubu. Diky jim jsme mohli poznat Rusko celkem podrobne, poznat jak lide ziji, co si mysli, ukazali nam mista o kterych by jsme jinak nemeli ani poneti.
Lide zde cely den nic neji, pak nasleduje jidlo kolem 19hod a dalsi pred spanim..zivotosprava dostava zabrat. Take nas prekvapilo mnozstvi caje, ktere zde vypiji.

Ted neco k nam a autu. Lednice bezi uz 6 mesicu bez prestavky a nejsou s ni zadne problemy, neni slyset ani v noci. S autem jsme dojeli do vysky 4033m n.m. bez nejakych problemu.

Z mist ktere jsme navstivili se nam nejvic libila priroda v Kyrgyzstanu, Charyn Canyon v Kazakhstanu, Altai a Baikal v Rusku.

We have been 6 months on the road and we are approaching the end of our journey in the former Soviet Union, much of which took place on the territory of Russia.

I have to say that Russia has surprised all our expectations. Nature and people are absolutely brilliant. We have driven 35 thousand km without significant technical problems. We had to change the coolant, wipers did not work / nobody knows why /, indicators did not work / the wire was worn out /, speedometer did not work and did not engaged the fourth gear / again broken wire /, loosen connection on the starter caused that we could not start the few times, broken the front absorber shock. We changed some parts of the chassis in Kazakhstan, which were worn out and in Vladivostok overall maintenance will be done.
These technical issues we had, Russia's Delica Club member always helped us to fix. Thanks to them we were able to discover Russia in total detail, to know how people live, how they think, they showed us a places, which we would not have a clue about. The hospitality of the locals is the chapter for itself, so a few examples:
We got 200l of diesel for free, because we have long journey ahead, and the money is always useful. We had to do the wheel alignment in the service and when the mechanic learned that we are from Czech, did not want any money from us, we got engine oil for free and did not have to pay for changing. When replacing parts of the chassis they did not charge for the service work and a lot of foods that people gave us not to mention.
Generally we are great adventurers for them, and many of them can not make the trip like this at all, because they can not imagine it. A lot of people wanted to take pictures with us and as soon as we stopped somewhere, someone always came to meet us or to talk. We have never met with any negative response, an effort to take the money from us, envy ...

As for alcohol, we met a lot of people who do not drink at all. Personally the vodka is very tasty and we have never had a problem with the fact that we were forced to drink a lot. Everything in moderation, just they are used to eat much. Big portions of meat and that the last meal is before bedtime around midnight surprised us. People do not eat all day here, then first meal is around 7p.m and another before bedtime. We were surprised by the amount of tea, which they drink here. Tea is drank virtually all day and usually with milk and sugar. From dishes are popular Pelmeni, Shashlik when camping, in Buratii Posy, in summer cold soup Okroska, fish soup Ucha, borsch.

What we like the most is the opportunity to drive anywhere, camp, and make a fire. This also, of course, bears the amount of rubbish in places where they can drive with a normal passenger car. If the place is available only for cars with 4x4 is mostly clean and free from rubbish.

Spaces are unimaginable. If you want to drive from one city to another, NAVIGATOR message appears such as "turn left at 1300 km." Go fishing 400 km there and 400 km back is not considered anything special.

Now something about us and the car. Our routine is not set, we get up when we want / not usually before 9 a.m / go sleep according to the moods and places where we are. Often we sat with people till the morning, the other extreme is that at 9 p.m we go to bed and sleep 12 hours ... just as we want. For breakfast we have cornflakes with milk, lunch is bread and salami and dinners are warm. We always cook food for 3 days and then heat it up. Microwave would be useful, it would speed up the process . Tea is cooked mostly on the fire and taste completely different than when brewed on gas. We have honey with tea, which we got from beekeepers who we met in Kazakhstan and the Altai. Bed in car is a luxury, things are arranged so that the making the bed will take about a minute and nothing needs to rearranged. Refrigerator has been running for 6 months without a break and no problems with it, we don't hear it during the night. The car we drove to a height of 4033 m without any problems.

About the places we visited. The most we liked nature in Kyrgyzstan, Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan, Altai and Baikal in Russia. Baikal is different in every part, north is wild, Olchon island reminds Mediterranean and Barguzin Valley are the mountains.

As for the police, so that's perfectly fine. It happens to stop us even 3 times a day in the city, but only out of curiosity and in general they don't want any documents. All police controls we managed only with copy of car registration that is in English. They never wanted any money, never tried to fine us, they were always helpful and ready to help. Crossing borders were always without problems. Only Kazakh-Kyrgyz border, thanks mentality of people was a bit chaos, but otherwise everything normal. Speaking Russian helps a lot. Everyone likes to talk and stickers of our city literally works as miracles.
