TBW Tourists on the Loose!

Saturday morning

was sunny and warm and a great day for a city-orientation tour via electric tram. We boarded outside our hotel and proceeded to explore the beautiful old city of Krakow.

Very different from Waukesha yet the same in many ways - architecture old and interesting, very different; people friendly and carrying on many of the same activities as folks at home; we are very much the same except for language. Janet (Wisconsin)

Krakow is a city of immense interest, numerous places and points of historical significance and many examples of old buildings with wonderful, artistic architecture, and a most magnificent city square. I spent time just sitting in the square watching the people go by and the kids feeding the flocks of pigeons. Eating outside in the square on Saturday evening with new companions who I hope become friends will be a cherished memory. Neil (South Australia)

Round 'Em Up, Move 'Em Out

to share this day with a great team in this part of our Father's world. The history and weather are awesome.

Krakow - A historical wonder in the buildings and a joy in the mingling on the square. A Chopin concert by the Krakow Chamber Orchestra in St. Peter and St. Paul Church was breathtaking in its simplicity. The children ran around as children do everywhere, but very attentive fathers watching the artists while pushing strollers. The sheer beauty of the nuns/sisters in full habit were a wonder that has been missing in America for about 40 years. And I will remember the walking, walking, and more walking.

Old country - old buildings - yet an amazing feel of newness and freshness of spirit. It will be fun to watch Poland's future.

The activity on the city square was vibrant on this special Polish holiday. Families casually strolled, visited with friends, ate delicious Lody (ice cream) and simply enjoyed their time together. The Polish people highly regard family time and keep it special.

Our team is getting to know each other and it's already obvious to the team leaders that we have another cohesive team!
