I'm going to Amsterdam on May 30th and for those who plan to travel in Amsterdam before our seminar begin, I have some recommendations and travel guides to share with you since I have some friends studying there.

For restaurants:
- Pancake bakery : a world-known pancake restaurant loved by all (more than 75 different kinds of pancakes and omelets!). The address is Prinsengracht 191 1015 DS tel. [phone]. Opened daily from 11.00-21.30. How to get there >> Bus: 80/81. Tram: 13, halte Westermarkt, 17, halte Westermarkt. Metro: to Amsterdam Central Station.

ORDERING IN A RESTAURANT
What do you recommend? Wat beveel je aan?
I would like to see the menu, please. Ik wou graag de menu zien, alstublieft.
I would like to order now. Ik wou graag nu bestellen.
That's not what I ordered. Dat is niet wat ik bestelde.
Waiter! Ober!
Could I have the bill, please. Mag ik afrekenen, alstublieft.

Attractions:
1. Boat cruise on Amsterdam canal ring: since Amsterdam is the most watery city in the world.
2. Rijksmuseum:largest museum in Netherlands. Its exhibition called The Masterpieces shows the most famous pieces of Dutch art from the 17th c., usually called the Golden Age of the Netherlands. Rembrandt, Vermeer and Hals reflect in their work different aspects of Dutch national character.
3. Van Gogh museum
4. Heineken brewery and museum
