The Bulldog

This place was the first coffeeshop in Amsterdam and now has runs a hostel, bars and coffeeshops. We stayed here for most of our time in A'Dam.

Cool guy we met in Hungary then looked up when we came to The Netherlands. Showed us around a bit. We both agreed he was the Dutch version of Tristen

We took a tour of Anne Frank's house and the anexe where they hid for two years during the war

Dispenses food like burgers, chips etc. I wasn't game enough to try this

We did a tour of the Heineken Brewery which included 3 free drinks in the bar at the end.

This is a segment of the best beer menu I've ever seen. We tried many different beers, mostly excellent Belgium beers from monasteries brewed by monks

Dave Winter

We were just hangin around a bar when Dave Winter walks in. Very random, but we spent the rest of the night and some of the next day with him.

Hey again, just finished reading all the blogs and am now totally up to date. I agree with you about choc milk etc. i was completely annoyed by how hard it was to get flavoured milk ANYwhere in Europe (well at least the major western european cities i went to). Over here i've been using strawberry milk as a good hangover cure, can't do it over there. Why is it you don't want to go to France? It's nice, especially when you speak the language. I had the same problem with cameras in the red light district, i got shouted at. Funny how annoyed they get when you consider what they do for a living.
