Red Lights
Yup, its truly that easy to know when your in the red light district. Arriving in Frankfurt in the mid afternoon, you can easily see just how effiecent the Germans are... EVERYTHING in the airport is automated. We rented a small little 90HP Ford Fiesta, and although quite wimpy we still managed to top out at 186km/h down hill on the autobahn. This was the start of our true Europe trip... driving through Europe with no restrictions or timelines. About 4 hours later and over 600kms covered we arrived in Amsterdam. For myself it was my second visit but this was Hawk's first. With the streets glowing red and the smell of marajuana in the air we checked ourselves into the Bulldog Hotel... the same place I stayed during last years visit. I highly recommend this 5 star hostel.
On night one we tasted some of the fresh locally grown columbian mushrooms. They come professionally prepackaged with instructions and the "energy" shop was only 5 feet from our hostel. We toured the streets of the red light district and window shopped for a few hours checking out what pleasures (in all shapes and sizes) Amsterdam had to offer. Finally getting back to the hostel we sat watching "The Big Lebowski" about 3 times until

Sleeping in the following day we headed off to the famous pub crawl which I did twice last year. Being my third time on the crawl my fee was half price and such a bargain. We actually did this two nights in a row which meant that on my next pub crawl tour in Amsterdam it will be FREE!!!
So, a little tired from 2 heavy nights of drinking we just chilled out at the hostel taking in the atmosphere of a scented haze through out the hotel bar and played some chess... this usually ending in stale-mate; i don't think either of us have any chess tactics.
The next day we headed off to the Heineken Experience, yes that's correct... another brewery tour. But, this one was like no tour we had done before... it was quite impressive and entertaining as far as a beer tour can get.
Check out our Heineken beer song video at:
Heineken Experience Later we checked out the local theatre plays, this involved a ribbon show, a banana show, many costumes and many more positions to perform sex. This was my first live sex show... unless I count Kings Cross

A scenic shot of the Canals found throughout Amsterdam. with Meeres being spanked by a stripper on stage wearing his tattered underwear, but that's a different story.
The last day we found a cheap Internet cafe where we slaughtered several orcs and some undead in a few matches of Warcraft III while savouring some Hawaiian mushrooms.
The next morning we strolled down to our car, packed up and drove off... destination: the beer capital of the world, Belgium.
