We finally made it to the 'Dam - a few train troubles, which were easily overcome, and some tram fun, and we arrive at our hostel to discover we've been upgraded due to overbooking! It appears that someone is certainly watching over us. We had a nigth in the drom room last night, which involved waking up the spanish girls we were sharing with at 12.30, then being woken by them (in what I believe was a revenge attack) at 5.30 as they awoke to get their train home.

We had a brief explore last night, and both made our way round the very... local area our hostel is in, and then made our way more central. We sampled the delights of Amsterdam, and ended up having a very "cut short'''night, after misjudging (by quite a large mark) the strength of what we were dealing with.

No photos, unfortunatly, due to a slight issue with my camera memory card, but I might post some of Ollie's photos later.
