Saturday we left Milan and travelled to Sirmione. Beautiful resort town on the edge of Lake Garda. We went for a half hour boat ride on the lake to see the town from a different perspective....it was gorgeous.....once back on land we explored the fort ruins and what was inside was unexpected. Nestled behind the walls was a myriad of alleys that housed little cafes, gelateria and shops..awesome! and that was an introduction to what we were to experience on this trip.
Sunday we travelled all the way around Lake Garda to all little towns and right up to the very end of the lake Riva del Grada....all of the towns have something different to offer.Food has been delicious!!Again the history of these places and their presence is aweinspiring.
Today we go to Verona, then on to Lake Como for 2 nights. I am glad I decided on a tour as there is no way I would have known the right places to stop at .
