An Elba coastal walk

Today we took an enjoyable coastal walk from Scaglieri where we are staying to the next resort, Procchio. The route went along the local beaches, paths through woods which stretched down to the cliffs and across a couple of delightful inlets. We were able to enjoy the waves left over from yesterday’s wind crashing on the shore. Unfortunately, a low level path back to Scaglieri we would have liked to have used was closed due to the rough sea.
