A day at the Duomo

Spent the day at the food market and around the Duomo. We did the 463 steps to the top of the Duomo and had a grand view of Florence. The passages inside the Duomo were dark and narrow. It had a combination of straight flights and circular stairways finishing with a short almost verticlestairs through a trap door. You are actually going up
inbetween an inner and outer domes.

Looking good!
Love the pictures. I visited Milan's 'Il Duomo' in 1979 - and have a jigsaw puzzle for that! But didn't get to climb 463 steps in Milan. Cool.
