We decided to head south for Easter. Sicily seemed the perfect place: warmer, way older, and friendly sicilians! We rented a car and drove wherever we wanted....when we got tired, we found a hotel. The children really enjoyed the trip...we all loved loved loved Siracusa!

Taormina. YOu can see the snow covered Mt. Etna (volcano) in the distance.

Isola bella (pretty island) was a great way to end the day. The beachw as a bit too pebbly (is that a word?) for the bare feet, but great for rock throwing.

A day trip to vairious little volcano side towns.

Set up on a hill we had gorgwous views from this medieval town.
