Not quite the start of the real travelling but we've just spent 5 days in the Marches with Gus, Sarah, Gaz and Em. The village of Auditore was lovely. We got to see San Marino, San Leo and Urbino, which was all good. Spent most of the time stuffing our faces and drinking cheap village wine for €4 a litre!

We've finally sorted out some plans and booked flights to Cape Town, so ignore the previous idea about Japan. We're saving that for March next year! We've also hired a car once we get to Cape Town, so the plan is to drive round S Africa, Botswana and Namibia for 2 months.

It's our last day at work tomorrow for a year!
