Absolutely wasted - flying at midnight after leaving Ko Samet early getting little sleep and arriving early morning is the recipe. Despite that the view flying over the Alps was beautiful. Europe is all sparten chic efficiency after asia. It all worx very smoothly with occasional slight language confusion. I stayed one night in Milan to have a look around. The old city is fascinating with its medieval architecture. Apart from the huge number of cafes the other thing thats hard not to notice is just how fashion conscious and dressed (or not) the women are. I checked out the Piazza del Duomo, city walls and buskers before a 2 hour train trip to Bologna.
