Making dinner
Laura got all dressed up one night, laundry day, and made spaetzle and shnitzel, it was delicious Yeah, its sad but true. Just 11 days left and 3 of those days will be spent in amsterdam. We leave on Tuesday and get back that Friday. Then the following Wednesday we will be heading home, but its going to take a real long time to get there. We'll be camping out in the London airport Wed. night. Im so thrilled. But atleast we will be back home the next day, then its a long drive to Florida to see the folks and my bro for Christmas. I will be sleeping. I wont even unpack just to pack again. I am so excited to see everyone. Jay and Erin will be at the airport to pick me up and hopefully I'll get to see Jamie and Shelle too. Well, there is really not much to say about the past week or two since we have been back from Munich. Megan went to Isreal for 5 days and she had a blast. She brought us back food and cool pants for all. We've been doing lots of studying and working on projects and stuff. We did manage to waste a couple of days in a row not doing anything whats so
Dinner
mmmmm, delicious ever. We just had our last 2 test yesterday and now im pretty much done. Ive got to work on a notebook for my architecture class and maybe revise my paper a little, but other than that I'm done, not that I had just tons to do. I mean its nothing compared to all the work my friends back home are having to do. And yet we still managed to complain about it and it seemed like a lot at the time. Its going to be a real shock next semester. Last night we had a party at the Quinns after a day of testing. First, i would just like to explain how extremely miserable yesterday was in the morning atleast. We had like no sleep from the night before, because we procrastinate and put things off until the last minute like any good honors student, plus it was raining like crazy. Its been raining here soooooo much. The tiber is even a little flooded. You cant even see the sidewalk down by the river. So it was raining and my umbrella was not helping, plus it was pretty cold. Yeah, miserable about sums it up. We went home between
Pudding for breakfast
the perfect balanced meal, and yes thats a bar of chocolate next to the pudding test and i was completely wet. I took a shower and went back to the center for the other test, which i completely goofed on, and i got soaked again. I was walking around without any socks or shoes for a while (in the center, not outside, just in case you were confused) because they were so wet and uncomfortable. Then we to the quinns and had tons to eat. I wasnt even hungry when i went, but the center had bought so many trays of delicious treats from this bar down the street, so i had to eat. It would have just been rude. Plus, pretty much every person who came brought food including 2 huge trays of tiramisu and delicious mash potatoes, the best mashpotatoes i have ever put in my mouth. so much food. At one point in the night we had to take a break, so we agreed not to touch anything for 20 mins, which was fine with me because the mash potatoes had to be heated up. It was really cool because davide and emilio, our professors, were there and davide even brought his wife who i had never met. They were fun. We had
Laura at work
she working on a picture depicting dantes hell for our project for quinns class, it looks amazing plenty of good laughs including when emilio said to laura "did you get that in venice?" pointing to her necklace, which she had. She grabs her shirt and says "oh no i got this at old navy." Oh man, that was so funny, we all busted out laughing and it even made samia cry. Afterwards, after eating way too much and feeling a little sick, we headed home. Laura and i started taking pics of ourselves, just goofing around. Then i suddenly got a burst of energy and started to dance, a lot. But then i got soooo tired and crashed. And what was sad, after all of this, i looked down at my ipod right before we are going to bed and its only 11. It felt like it was 3 in the morning. But we were working off about 3 hours of sleep, had an extremely long day of testing and were at the party from like 3:30 until 8:30 or so. I got plenty of sleep last night though. Today is Rachels last day so we are going to go out and do something. Shes going to be leaving tomorrow, going to travel around until she has
Cassie studying
or playing solitaire to catch her plane in london around the 18th. Well, this will probably be my last entry over here. I wont get to do one for amsterdam when we get back because we wont be able to get into the center, i think. Well, thats it for now.

almost over
I started to cry reading this entry, and I'm not sure why. I'm not even the one leaving Rome! It's just sad that its almost over and I feel like I've been there with you because of your awesome blog! I'm so glad you got to experience this and I'm so proud of you and Laura (and the others) for doing all that you have and making the most of these last few months. Have a blast in Amsterdam and be careful coming home. We'll be waiting... --love, erin
