Sunday 22nd June Average temperature in Rome is supposed to be around 27 degrees at this time of year. The coach clock is registering 36/37 degrees! In December 2006 I left my job as 'Interdisciplinary Research Officer' at the University of Manchester. Before setting out on my RTW trip, I carried out a vast amount odf de-cluttering and de-junking, completed (reading) a number of careers books, produced web sites and a chapter for a high-profile book for London Transport Museum, plus generated some ideas for further articles.
