We made it to Rome!

Monday, June 2- Our first day in Rome-

We made it safely to our hotel after the fastest taxi driver in Italy got us here. While checking into the hotel, we met our favorite little front desk worker- Giorgia. She is great. The bellhop that drove us back and forth between buildings was also wonderful! I must admit, we didn’t do anything exciting after checking in. We slept most of the day and went to a Pizzeria/Gelateria for dinner.

The pizzeria was in a shopping plaza that had a movie theater and was pretty busy. The pizza was good and the theater was showing Maid of Honor and Sex in the City. After our little dinner outing, we were back to the hotel for some more sleep.
