And one more thing

Another gripe about Rome, in addition to it being dirty and the roads being uncomfortable to walk on:

Very few places accept credit cards. The only place I've been able to use one was at the hostel, and that was only to pay for my room. Every museum or attraction I go to accepts cash only. This is somewhat annoying because paying in cash means I need more cash, and every transaction screws me over due to the bad exchange rates.

What a typical ancient Roman road looks like, fortunately only seen around ancient Roman ruins as they hurt like hell to walk on.

A lot of trains on the Roman Metro look like this: head to toe in graffiti.
