Joshua Learns to Drive The Tractor

Today was rainy and cloudy. As we will be flying to France next week, we need to mail some things home to lighten our load. Evy and I headed off to the post office in the morning to get some idea of what it was going to cost to send home school books that we have finished with. In the end it wasn't too bad, but like all things official here, seemed to take an inordinate length of time to accomplish.

In the afternoon, Joshua joined Luigi in the fields where he had his first turn to drive the tractor, which he was quite happy about. Back here at the house, Evy's uncle Giovanin came over and he and I cut down the tall grass around the vineyard in order to prepare it for spraying later this week.
