Finalizing France and Preparing for Venice

We headed over to the farm this morning to use the INTERNET. We booked an apartment in Grenoble that we have been considering and looked into the cost of flying there rather than taking the train. As it turns out, it is somewhat cheaper to fly (not to mention much faster) though the flight will take us to Lyon and we will still need to catch a bus or train the short distance further to Grenoble. I like the train as you get to see more of the county, but the prices for train travel are just too high here, contrary to what our guide book had suggested.

After an afternoon of school work, Stefano called and we invited him over for dinner. It was good timing as he was able to give us more advice on Venice.
