Benjamin and Joshua woke up to a reasonable haul of chocolate this morning, despite our travelling status, thank to the kindness of Aunt Mine and others. After breakfast we headed over to the farm to join Giovanin and their family for church.

The local church has a reputation for painfully long services, so thankfully we were going to another church in a different town. Compared to the church in Flaibano, this church was quite cheerful looking inside and out, brightly lit with morning sun. Though the service was entirely in Italian, the structure of it was familiar enough for us to follow along.

Back at the house, Evy set up an easter egg hunt for Joshua, Franceso, and his small cousin Stefano. Unfortunately, Pia didn't realize that Evy had done this and started collecting the chocolates as she found them in the flower pots! A quick scramble had them put back. They had a great time searching the area around the farm for the chocolate eggs, some of which were getting quite soft in the morning sun.

At lunch, there were 19 of us, as all of Pia and Giovanin's children and grandchildren where there in addition to our own family. Anna and her husband Gianluigi, who live not far from where are staying were there along with Monica and her husband Piero and their three children, Luca, Lisa, and Stefano.

After lunch, Joshua, Benjamin and I headed back to the house while Evy stayed to talk (our lack of Friulano limits the conversations some what). Evy and her relatives took a tour of Luigi and Giuditta's nearly completed house which stands just the other side of the barn.

In the late afternoon, we headed over to Evy's Aunt Chiara where we met Sandra and her husband Mauro and their children, Elena and Fabbio. We played a few games of two on two soccer in the backyard before Chiara's other son, also named Mauro, joined us and we went in for dinner. This side of the family speaks more English (in particular Sandra and Mauro) so it was a bit easier to communicate and less of Evy translating. Sandra and her husband Mauro had kindly brought us a number of tourism brochures and had some good suggestions of things that we might want to do in the tie of our stay.
