The trip actually begins on Sept 22 with my first stop in New York City to see some old friends there. I'll arrive in Rome on the 23rd. So check back in on Sept. 24th.

I'm making a 30 year anniversary trip to Italy in mid-September. I'm mainly going to Reggio Calabria, an area I've never been before. I want to see "I Bronzi," two incredible Greek statues that were discovered in the water off Riace back in 1980. I was 40 when I went to Italy the first time, so you do the math on how old I am now.
