Douglas and Manx Heritage Museam
Triskelion - the national symbol of the Isle of Man. Douglas (Manx: Doolish) is a capitol and the biggest town of the Isle of Man. In general
Douglas looks very similar to different resorts on the British Isles fro example Llandudno in north Wales, but Douglas varies some details. Promenade is divided for three parts (from ferry terminal): Loch Promenade, Harris Promenade and Central Promenade. The promenade is very long, longer than I ever seen anywhere and I think it is about 3 miles long or even more. Douglad promenade has distinguishing feature - the horse trams. I regret a bit we didn't buy ticket for just one hack. We used only buses and we noticed that day railway station is located at the opposite site of promenade than the ferry terminal and bus station. I fully understand why these transporting features are dislocated - there no enought room on the island to do more tracks for railways etc.
That we had a plan to get to
Tower of Refuge mounted on rocky St Mary's Isle next to the ferry terminal. We brought this forward because we had to wait until low tide will get to maximum (that day equil 4 PM) and to don't waste the time we directed to Manx

That museum also presents interactive displays and Exhibition overthere was also multimedial and evidences tracks of 10 thousants of Manx history - from prehistoric sparse tracks and artifacts until present time and displays numerous type of motorcycles used in TT Races over 100 years. There is a splendid display regarding Viking heritage and about wild life and animals inhabiting the island. Paweł was enthusiastic when he saw
Manx Loaghtan - a local four horned sheep species. I noticed raven with its black feathers and killer's glance was number one. easiest way how to get there is asking local people for hints - most of them will direct you to lift in one high building, you must get into, choose eight floor, get up there, leave outside and go forward - you should notice museum a front of you. Museum is on the hill and this the easiest way how to get there.
Before we leave Douglas we decided to eat someting and go to Laxey. That day wheather was awful - fog covers everything and visibility was limited sometimes to few metres, moreover it was raining. We were upset
