We left Janet and Joe’s in the morning after a very pleasant stay and drove across Ireland on increasingly narrow and rough roads to Achill Island. Our campsite adjacent Barnyngappel Strand, a fine and wild sandy beach on the north coast near the village of Dugort. The weather was very windy and showery.
