Yasus everyone! We arrived in our first European destination, Athens Greece. After a four hour flight from Bahrain we flew over Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Greek Islands before descending over the Acropolis and other awesome sights in Athens. Hey guys, the colours look amazing! Made sure I used a colour printer to send this blog to Grandma. You've missed the big storms here - flooded Whangarei, tornadoes in Tauranga and houses falling off cliffs in Coromandel. It was raining last night and I ran into the STA Travel store again on the way home from work. Read the same round the world travel brochure for about the 4th time - I'm ready for a holiday in the sunshine too I think!

Top of my wish list
This is definitely top priority for me for my next trip - so stunning and what suprises me is that such a major tourist mecca can be done so cheaply. Impressive tans!!

Oh Wow!! I think I'm going to return to my maiden name, pack my bags (kev can help carry them) and jump on the plane, how amazing. You've really got the whole family going now, especially seeing we're having such a bad patch with this crazy weather. Blue sea and skies, sun, historic buildings, fantastic food, amazing scenery...... how fantastic, lap it up, love Ngaire.
