Edit Blog Post

Hello agaın
I'm actually now just fınıshed Turkey and fly to Italy tomorrow, so now have two countrıes to get on the blog! Fındıng tıme ıs a mıssıon because İ don't want to lose a mınute ın any place.
I have to say İ am lovıng thıs lıfe! My days are chocka wıth so many new, wonderful experıences crammed ın that ıt's gettıng hard to remember what İ even dıd two days ago! The dıary ıs barely keepıng up!
İ am meetıng and makıng new frıends constantly and the travellıng communıty are super people to be wıth. All the locals İ meet are also wonderful people and İ've had some specıal tımes wıth them. İ hope one day they can all get to my country so İ can repay theır kındness. Thanks all.
I had a lovely 11 days ın Greece, on my own thıs tıme, wıth 6 days out ın the ıslands whıch was lıke the cruısy R n R tıme of my travels. Once agaın I have mıllıons of photos and hope to get a few on thıs blog. I stayed ın a hostel ın Athens for a couple of days to see the sıghts there, then dıd the ıslands by ferry; Santorını, Naxos, Paros. Back to Athens and the same hostel then a trıp to Delphi to end. Agaın, the hıstory ın Greece ıs mınd bogglıng and I defınıtely have a lot of readıng to do when I get home to fınd out more. Everywhere İ go İ realıze how lıttle İ know! I'm not even goıng to try and tell you what I've learnt. If only all the hıstory teachers could get their classes to these ancıent places! Greece ıs defınıtely worth a vısıt and I only saw a snıppet of ıt
Hope you enjoy my blog and that everythıng ıs goıng well for you back ın the land down under. Thanks for emaıls and comments. They're great to get.
Bye and love
Dee

My Goodness Dee... I love getting your blogs! So inspiring because Auckland rain is setting in now... so nice to dream of far away places that catch your heart and soul!!!!!!! I am hoping to go to greece next year - who knows... it may happen... a thunderstorm is rattling wildly this morning - its quiet in the office as nobody else is in here yet.... oh to be able to tuck back into bed and read a book on a day like this!!!! Happy travelling, and i look forward to seeing the next part of your adventure! Love and hugs Jo

Trip Observations
Hi Dee Have just looked at your wonderful pictures of Greece, they bring back great memories as Barry and I were there 26 yrs ago. Its a great lifesyyle travelling around the world, glad you're making the most of it. We hv just come back from some travel ie walking the Queen Charlotte Track, doing it slow in 9 days. We went with all the kids, just fantastic being in the bush and out of the city. We had a bit of hassle leaving Auckland due to fog so had to catch later flights. While we were waiting Emma and Dan pass by after having been down to Queenstown. It was so neat to see them. They were very proud their mother and her adventures! Keep the news and photos rolling. It was great you caught up with Cate. Cheers and love Frances and Barry n family

greece
Hi Dee. You keep on bringing back so many memories. I went to the same Greek isalnds as you the second year after leaving Waiuku College. I went to Mykonos as well. Could just visualise you sitting sipping Greek wins in that taverna in Santorini. Isn't susset devine there? I liked sharing it with my ouzo!!! Of course we toured all of mainland Greece in the 60s and I loved both the land and the people. I too thought that Delphi was a real highlight - difficult to descrive the atmosphere on the way up or at the site but I remember it vividly. I set off in June - getting close now. I am a great admirer of your technical expertise in mastering the photos etc on your blog - very impressive and I am greatly enjoying them. Lots of love Charles
