16 hrs. on the ferry, but at least these seats reclined so it wasn't so bad; I slept a bunch as I finished my book! Part way through it turned too random & I wouldn't recommend it. I'm going to try & find an English version of Time magazine or something like that. Back to the ferry, boarded at 2 AM even though it didn't depart until 430 AM. About 3, not a nightmare, but reality when about 50, loo... Read Full Entry

toilets
Hi - I've been "beaching" it myself for a week around LA with some friends. Thank goodness they have clean toilets that take toilet paper. Greece has now moved to the bottom of my travel list due to the toilet situation. Pictures look nice and seems you are having a wonderful experience. How expensive are the drinks? I was drinking mojitos or margaritas every day on my vacation, usually at happy hour prices.

Toilets
Michelle, If Greece has moved to the bottom of your list, i must give you the list that i have and use for my public health class where they still do not use toilet paper. Did you ever wonder why no one in India or China and many other countries is never a left handed individual. Enough said that unless you carry toilet paper with you, in these countries and in others, using your left hand is the accepted common practice. So think of that next time someone from one of these countries prepares your dinner :) Steve, Where are you headed next if you are saying good-by to Greece??? Barry and I just wanted to remind you of the Irish whisky when you get to Ireland, and remember, make sure it is from a small distillery that does not export so there is no chance of getting it in the US. See you soon.

Drinks
I've been drinking mostly beer as it's easier on the budget. Price range has been Mini-Mart take away at .80 Euro to sit down 3-3.50 Euro. Yes, the traveling has been a fun adventure.
