Punderich

We moved on to our next destination on the Mosel, Punderich, one of the pretty villages we had cycled through the previous day. When we got there we had a stroll around admiring many of the buildings and avoiding several parties of revelers who were making their way from location to location to taste the offerings in the wine festival.

The afternoon was spent on a pleasant walk in the wooded hill above the village which didn’t offer many views due to the trees.

After supper we watched England draw with Russia in the European Cup and were horrified to see the violence between the opposing fans.
