Trittenheim

On a dismal morning with persistent light rain we stuck to Andrew and Penny’s (the organisers of the trip) plan and walked up the hill behind Trittenheim to a superb swimming pool complex in a panoramic location where we all had an entertaining hour acting like kids as we whooshed down the spiral water slide.

When we left the pool the rain had stopped and we found a closed hotel with a terrace that had a wonderful view of the Mosel bend around Trittenheim. We had a scenic picnic there before making our way back down to the valley.
