The dom (cathederal) in Passau has one of the largest organs in the world with over 17,000 pipes and each day at noon a recital is given on this outstanding instrument. We therefore decided to go back into the town to have a listen and were not disappointed. The resident organ master filled the building with incredibly intricate music and a staggering array of notes.
In the afternoon we commenced our Danube journey and drove 40k along a pretty riverside road to Schlogen where there are two tight bends. We found a campsite in a lovely position and went for a steep 45 minute walk to a viewpoint where we overlooked the meanders.
