Soccer balls hanging in the streets of Aahus.Day 16
On our way out of Aahus, I snapped a picture of the soccer balls they had hanging all over the streets. We made our drive to Frankfurt for our last night’s stay before getting on the plane in the morning. It took about 6 ½ hours which wasn’t too bad. About 2 blocks from our hotel there was a soccer fan fest going on. These are parties that are set up all over Germany for the fans to come and watch the games on big screen tv’s. There is beer and weinerschnitzels and all the fans. It was a lot of fun watching with all the German fans. We called it an early night because 6am comes pretty quickly.
A side note: When we first got to Germany all these huge signs said "Ausfahrt". "I can't believe how many places go to Ausfahrt!" Well ausfahrt is "exit" in German. Too funny.
