hey guys, merry christams ! we hae just arrived home from the snow and it was the best thing ever ! we had such a great time with all their family who are the nicest people ever ! all up there was about 22 of us and i think everyone had a great christmas and a great time skiing ! there were there were 4 other kids around manon andmy age. Alex, 15 Cammie, Julie, 21 and Gabriel (who looked like a european model :O lol ) 16 shame he had a girlfriend :P

there were other younger kids too and then their parents. for mon till fri i took skiing lessons for 2 and a half hours as well as being tought a bit before each lesson by manons eldest cousin who was 25 by the end of the week i got the 2nd level award and apparently thats good :S lol on saturday we spent the whole day skiing around 9 till 4 it was a very long day bt so fun and i was rather happy with how i had improved.

it snowed on christmas during the day which was good for the next day of skiing but at the tiime no so fun as it hurt because it was ore like smaller hail . the way the family celebrate nöel was aso differet as there was no santa or papa nöel as they call him and we gave out pressies around 12am chritmas morning and had a very late night. on chirstmas eve some of us also went to mass. the two most different things about this for was 1 it was in french and 2nd half of us headed straight there after we left the slopes so we were in ski pands boots and hoodies aposed to the dress or nice clothes we wear with mum.. haha see mum sure god still loves us :P

the town we were staying in was Samoëns and it is boadering switzerland and france. once you had caught the cable care up to samoëns mountain you could ski over and take other cable cars to the next better mountain called Flaine. this is what we did on our last day of skiing. from the top if Flaine ou could see Mt Blonc with is the hightest mountain in europe, and like all the others amazing and beautiful !

i had a great week with the family between christmas, snow fights, learning to ski, eating so mm different foods ( such as duck liver from ducks that had been feed crn to make their liver bigger and then speard on bread :Sthe kids love it and boiled eggs with caviar in side), learing some more french, learning how the teenages talk, and getting to know the family i had a great week ! they are all so kind and helped me in so many ways to make sure i had the best time i could and teach me at the same time. when it came time to say goodbye, finaly round of continous kisses on each cheek i was sad to leave the mountain and the family. i dont know if it was just because i was home sick but saying goodbye to my new extended family i had to fight back the tears.

one week left with my family, new years party and hopefuly relaxing a bit after a week of skiing everyday and a week in paris to go. i cant beleive it is half way already but planning on making the most of every second ! i will try and write again later in the week now i have internet acces again ! xoxoxox
